It's the beauty contest where nervous judges are likely to get an offer they can't refuse - Miss Mafia 2010.
Contestants for the pageant in Budapest, Hungary, must either have mob connections or convictions for crimes that have earned them time behind bars.
Judges have already selected the four Mafia molls who will compete for the title in next month's grand final.
One of the favourites is Alexa Diamond, a PA to a Hungarian mafia boss and serving three years on probation, who said: "Here, it is only your beauty that counts and your record doesn't count against you for once."
Rival Beata Kalman added: "I'm glad to get through but the party could have been better. I know, because I deal with drugs and party organisers all the time."
Ruthless Clara Daak - who has done time for property fraud - told judges she wouldn't be seeking world peace or helping children if she won the title.
"My hobby is collecting property leases from losers," she said.
Porn star Aletta Ocean, who pleaded guilty to indecency in a public place, added: "I know I could never stay good long enough for a straight beauty contest so this is perfect for me."
The winner of the finals will win a car and Budapest apartment, and go on to the Miss Mafia Universe contest in an international showdown hosted by Japan's Yakuza.

Miss Mafia Beauty Contest that could end with the judges getting an offer they can't refuse.
Because organisers in Budapest, Hungary, are holding the world's first pageant exclusively for girls convicted of Mafia-connected crimes. Women can post their pictures on the contest's website — but only after submitting a police mugshot to prove their background.
Other vital statistics submitted to judges include charges and time spent behind bars.
One finalist — identified as Anna — said: "I was told by my friends several times to go in for a beauty contest. But I couldn't because they rule out anyone with a criminal record."
The winner — who gets a car and an apartment in Budapest — will be decided in a final pageant at a bar that was once bombed out in a Mafia clan fight.
One organiser said: "We have thieves, fraudsters, gang members, bank robbers and swindlers — so it should be an interesting night."

World Snail Racing Championships People gathered from around the globe
People in Congham, Norfolk, have been racing the shell-dwellers at their annual fete for 25 years.
The annual gathering sees about 250 people from as far away as Malawi bring their hard-backed friends along to race.
This year it was pesky plant-eater Terri who set his owner on a silvery trail to fame if not fortune.
In his quest to become the world's fastest snail, the slimy competitor slithered 13 inches to the finish line in 2 minutes 49 seconds.
Owner, 27-year-old Claire Hopkins, from West Raynham, Norfolk, said: "We only came by chance so this is quite unexpected, I feel quite privileged to win."
The creatures who win the preliminary are then entered into the final at the end of the day.
Snail master Neil Riseborough, 50, said: "This is the snail racing world championships, all the rest are imitations. If you don't win the final here then you're not a world champion."
The victor claimed a silver tankard filled with lettuce, and the prestigious title of "Fastest Snail in the World".
The current record was achieved in 1995 at two minutes.

As a means of getting your wife from A to B it certainly isn't dignified but the annual wife-carrying championships 2010 provide plenty of amusement for the casual observer.
And once again, Finland, the home of the competition, clinched the title as Taisto Miettinen sprinted fastest along the 832ft track, carrying Kristiina Haapanen upside-down on his back.
The couple, who also won the world championship title last year, finished the race in one minute and five seconds.
Estonia's Alar Voogle and Kristi Viltrop tripped in the water obstacle and were second some five seconds behind the winners.
Finns Ilpo Haalisto and Satu Juurinen got bronze.
The winning couple trained together throughout the year.
'Before I have been a lot of in a gym, but nowadays I have run a lot and that is the secret,' Miettinen said after Saturday's race in hot and sunny conditions.
The race, held for the 15th time attracted 55 couples from 15 countries, including Australia, Ireland and Poland, to compete in the remote eastern Finnish village of Sonkajarvi, some 302 miles north-east of the capital Helsinki.
The wife-carrying competition has its roots in a legend of Ronkainen the Robber and his gang who lived in the forests and stole food and girls from villages.

Fifty competitors have been clowning about in the 43rd world custard pie championships in Kent.
Teams at the event, in the village of Coxheath near Maidstone, were given maximum points for throwing a pie squarely into their opponents' faces.
Judges also awarded up to five points for the most original and amusing throwing techniques.
This year's champions were the High Pressure Cleaning team who beat last year's winners Coxheath in the final.
The championships were started in 1967 by Councillor Mike FitzGerald to help raise funds to build a village hall.
The idea for the charity event came from a Charlie Chaplin comedy, Behind The Screen.
Mr FitzGerald said it has proved such a success teams had entered from as far afield as Germany and South Africa.
He said: "I think people just like to give vent to their feelings and have a lot of fun.
"A lot of people come from office jobs and are pleased to get outside.
"You get bankers and people who work in building societies and they just like to let go.
"They dress up for it as well so people don't know who they are."
The pies do not actually contain custard, but are made using a secret recipe.

Blog Guy, I follow the exciting world of competitive eating – you know, like that Wing Bowl and stuff like that. But I was baffled to see a reference to the “World Poutine Eating Championship.” What on earth is Poutine?
Thanks a lot for asking. Now I’m going to have nightmares again. Poutine is a dish consisting of french fries covered in cheese curds and gravy. They eat it up there in Canada.

How much of this poutine crap did the winner manage to eat, anyway?
Two bites, which is a real testimony to man’s ability to push the limits.
Just two bites? That doesn’t sound like very much. What about the other competitors?
Several of them wept like babies. One fainted. Another was disqualified for trying to substitute real food he had brought with him. Most just took one look at the table and walked off the stage.
That sounds about right. And what was the prize?
The winner got $750. In one article he said he was going to spend it in a bar. Personally, I don’t think it’s going to be enough….
