Women are bombarded with images of big-busted women via advertising and the media, making many feel inadequate and leading them to regard bust size as a “life-or-death” issue.
Ladies who want to enlarge their breats should consider heading to Thailand to undergo breasts slapping. I am dead serious, ladies! Slapping? Yes, breast slapping is an officially approved method of breast enhancement.
Khemmikka Na Songkhla, a Bangkok beautician invented the method of breast slapping that was eventually approved by Thailand’s government health board in 2003 as a natural alternative to surgery.
Ms Khemmikka says she has enlarged the breasts of thousands of Thai women over the past 14 years – not with chemicals or silicone, but by using traditional massage. Reports show that breast slapping can increase breast fullness by 4” within 3-6 months of continuous treatment.
The treatment involves a kneading action that massages fat from surrounding areas around the breasts, and pushing them towards the breasts. The fat from other areas of the body eventually fill the breasts to create a fuller appearance and size. Breast slapping can be relaxing, stimulating and painful.
The routines were supplied by a Bangkok beautician, Khemmikka Na Songkhla , who has been pursuing a patent for her grandmother’s secret fat-kneading technique. Unlikely as it seems, the idea is to shift one’s unsightly bulges to more strategic areas up front.
When Ms Khemmikka was an adolescent, her granny mocked her for wasting time rubbing her nipples with a miracle cream in hopes of sprouting big breasts. She said she should rub the old-fashioned way, until it hurt. By repeatedly pushing any flab from her sides and midriff towards her chest, and afterwards dousing Ms Khemmikka’s breasts with ice water, her granny boosted her breast size by 4in and her confidence soared.
Ms Khemmikka, now 35, says her shapely breasts are all the advertisement she needs and has marketed the technique in her beauty parlour for 15 years. Six sessions cost $380, and yield an increase of up to 4in without injections, chemicals or implants.
But the lucrative business threatened to go bust after a client developed breast cancer and blamed it on her breast massage. Distraught, Ms Khemmikka asked the Health Ministry to learn if there could be a link with breast massage.
Dr Pennappa Sapcharoen, the deputy director of the traditional medicine division, told her no clinical trials had been done, but she was intrigued by the technique. The ministry launched a six -month study on volunteers aged 20 to 60, and found vigorous massage left their breasts cancer-free and measurably bigger.
Pennapa Subcharoen, head of the Public Health Ministry’s Thai traditional medicine institute, said Khemmika’s methods were equivalent to the exercises used by body builders.
“It is like men going to a gym to build specific parts of their bodies by lifting weights with that part,” Pennapa says. “In Khemmika’s case, she tries to move fat from parts it is not supposed to be to where it should be
Ms Khemmikka helped the Institute of Thai Traditional and Alternative Medicine to come up with its three-month regimen of self-massage and daily breast-boosting exercises. Dr Pennapa also insists that skinny girls must eat more if they expect to increase the size of their mammaries.
Khemmika, 34, advertizes on a billboard in front of her house-cum-clinic in a suburb of Bangkok that she can “beat small busts to be big.”
“The slogan is merely a ploy to draw people’s attention,” says Khemmika’s husband, Pasit. “In fact, we massage them or slap some parts of the body to enlarge the breasts.”
Khemmika squeezes, pinches and slaps fat and muscle on the upper chest, the sides of the torso, and the belly of clients with cream or gel in six 10-minute sessions. After the treatment, which patients say is painful, Khemmika instructs her customers in special exercise techniques and massage to keep their breasts in shape.
Her customers come from a wide range of backgrounds, ages and professions. They range from college girls in their early 20s to a 70-year-old retiree. Models, actresses and politicians have all attended her clinic, she says. “These women once had chicken-egg size breasts. After the course, they have become ostrich egg size,” she says.
But not all can attend Khemmika’s course. Khemmika has to turn down customers who are too skinny or do not have much fat on their upper chest or sides of their torso. “I just tell them: Go back and put on some weight before coming back to me.”
Many women thought this treatment was a joke when it was first reported, but the track record speaks for itself. And there seem to be no major risks associated with this technique. Go book your ticket to Thailand now.

Beer-mongers around the world, your prayers have finally been answered – English supermarket Asda has launched aspecial underwear that promises to sculpt your beer belly, tone your behind and hide love handles.
Called Manx, after the female underwear brand Spanx, this miracle undergarment will save you the effort of having to suck in your belly every time you go out. They may not be the sexiest underpants you’ve ever seen but if you’re not big on diets and exercising they may be the only way to get that streamlined silhouette you’ve always dreamed of. Asda claims its specialists have been working on Manx underwear for an entire year, getting fabric percentages just right and adding control areas in problem areas.
Manx is 85% polyamide and 15% elastane, which helps compress flabby areas. A double knitted panel flattens and firms your beer belly, while the side panel going from the waist down to the thighs compresses love-handles and tones your buttocks. Their unusual shape helps support lower back, but I’m pretty sure many guys won’t be to eager to put on something that covers their rib cage and will probably prove a turn-off in the boudoir.
Women have been wearing deceiving accessories like padded bras and body-sculpting undergarments for years, and it’s time boys started playing dirty as well. Relaxing is probably one of the last words people use to describe tickling, but at the CosquilleArte Spa, in Madrid, Spain, they actually use delicate tickling techniques to relieve clients’ stress.
I’ve seen some pretty bizarre spas since I began writing for OC, from resorts treating guests to wine, tea and sake baths, to clinics that use crude oil as treatment, but I never imagined someone would get the outrageous idea of using tickling as a stress-relieving therapy. But what I found even more ridiculous was that the idea actually worked and CosquilleArte has become one of the most popular spa venues in the Spanish capital. It wasn’t until later, when I learned the tickling methods have nothing to do with the terrible torture we all had to face from childhood friends, that this unusual form of therapy started to make sense.
Instead of jabbing their fingers into clients’ sides and armpits, like I’m sure you and your friends/siblings used to torment each other, the massage therapists at CosquilleArte gently trace their fingertips and soft feathers down their backs and other sensible areas, and adjust their touches according to how ticklish every person is. Although most first time customers clench when they’re touched, they leave the wacky establishment a lot more relaxed than when they came in.
CosquilleArte is the brainchild of Isabel Aires, a public relations specialist who loves to be tickled. She used to be tickled gently, by her father, so she would go to sleep, and one day she just thought “Why can’t I pay someone to do this, in the same way as I can pay for a massage?” She learned there was no tickling service available, so she decided to open the world’s first tickle spa. Together with two experienced massage therapist, Isabel had to invent tickle therapy, and judging by the success and popularity of CosquilleArte, I’d say they did a pretty good job.
The unique salon’s clientele varies from teenagers to 70-year-olds who pay €25 ($35) for a half hour of tickling, or €45 ($60) for a whole hour. It might sound like wasted money, if you’re still thinking about those dreaded armpit or sole tickles, but we’re talking about pleasurable, relaxing tickling, like your mother used to do to when you were a baby. It seems adults love the sensation of being tickled just as much as children, because Isabel Aires has already received calls about her tickle spa from as far as Russia and South America. She’s now considering setting up franchises and is discussing the possibility of making tickle massage available for in-room, for a large Spanish hotel chain.

I for one find coffins to be really creepy and I wouldn’t dream of lying down in one if someone paid me all the money in the world, but at Wat Prommanee people actually wait in line and pay a fee for a chance to do just that. It’s one of the strangest ceremonies in the world, but one that has been rising in popularity ever since the temple started practicing it, over six years ago. Nine colorful coffins dominate the main hall of Wat Prommanee Temple, and hundreds of people lie down in them every day, playing dead for about a minute and a half, listening to religious chants, and rise up at command feeling cleansed and relaxed.
Wat Prommanee basically offers a daily resurrection service that many Thais believe washes away bad luck and helps prolong their life. It makes sense that people wish for a second chance in life, especially when confronted with serious issues, but lying down in a decorated coffin hardly seems like a solution. I mean, what if it doesn’t change anything, right? Well, they just go back and do it again. The ceremony apparently relaxes them and gives them positive thoughts, so many people come back to Wat Prommanee Temple for the chance to be reborn several times over a few years. All they have to do is pay a small fee.
The entire rebirth ceremony lasts just 90 seconds – believers get into the coffin, lie on their backs, close their eyes, a shroud covers the coffins then is quickly removed, people are commanded to get up, say a quick prayer, and are urged to head toward the exit where nine more people anxiously await their new prosperous lives. It just doesn’t get any easier…
So if you were hoping for a second chance at life, give Wat Prommanee a shot, it’s quick and only costs a few bucks.

Airline food served on little plastic trays is always sure to divide opinion -- but one unique restaurant is redefining what you'd expect to eat on-board a plane.
That's because this unusual eatery, which is the first of it's kind in the UK, is set inside a Douglas DC6 aircraft and run by 35-year-old chef Tony Caunce at Coventry Airport.
With a fully-functioning bar on-board, punters can enjoy draught beers and wines with food from under a tenner up to just £15 for a fillet steak...meaning the owners can brag that the prices aren't too sky high.
The 40-seater restaurant opened two weeks ago with an aviation-themed menu including an 8oz Rapide, Vampire gammon steak, Bomber T-bone steak and a Meteor marinade fillet… luckily you don't have to eat with a tiny plastic knife and fork.
Punters can also have a look at the original cockpit to see what the plane was like when it was flying. Waiters can be called to tables using the original call buttons as you would find on a flight to call a stewardess.
"The plane is an old DC6," said owner Mr Caunce. "It was in use all around the world until only about three and a half years ago.
"It used to fly all across the world, lots of flights to Spain but also transatlantic flights.
"It's a good space for a restaurant and attracts people who are interested in planes as well as people coming through the airfield.
"We've only been open for two weeks but we've already catered for large parties of people coming through the airfield."
Retired pilot Eamonn Williams, who used to fly the plane in it's heyday says he believes the idea is excellent: "I'm ecstatic to see it in use like this, I went as soon as it opened, I loved it, it's a fantastic place to be and they do great food," said 52-year-old Mike.
"The DC6 is my favourite of all the planes I ever flew," said Mike, who retired from flying four years ago and lives in Coventry.
"I flew jumbo jets at the end of my career, which was a sort of childhood dream, but it had nothing on the DC6."
The plane, which is over 50-years-old, was built to fly 92 passengers in comfort across the Atlantic, before being converted to carry cargo, which included transporting race horses.

This shopping centre had some decidedly under-dressed shoppers at the weekend... as hordes of underwear-clad women competed to win £100 gift vouchers.
Lakeside Shopping Centre in Essex gave the prizes to the first 100 women to turn up on Sunday morning in nothing but their bra, panties and high heels.
After getting the gift card the girls who had dared to bare were then encouraged to hit the shops and buy themselves a new outfit.
However, while women had already got a pair of hight heels on, a surprisingly high number of them headed straight for the shoe shops… which must have made their walk home interesting.
Kylie Minor, from Lakeside Shopping Centre said: "We loved seeing all our luscious ladies looking gorgeous in their underwear and heels and I’m sure they all enjoyed choosing an outfit from our wide range of new spring fashion in the stores afterwards."

Each model's clothing in the series was made entirely of real food and depicts a meal that the person was craving. This project was shot in January of 2009 (pre Lady Gaga). 15 designers, led by Ami Goodheart of SOTO Productions, were involved and each garment took hours to cook, create and assemble. The artichoke gown was designed by Daniel Feld and Wesley Nault of Project Runway fame. It took over 6 hours to finish (the model stood the entire time while they attached each, individual leaf).
The World's most expensive Luxury flat on sale three bedroom flat in history has been sold for almost £200m - despite a dark history involving a murder in its main reception room.
Reclusive British property developers Christian and Nick Candy are thought to have made a profit of at least £190m from La Belle Epoque penthouse in Monaco, on the French Riviera.
They bought the 17,500 sq ft flat from Englishwoman Lily Safra in the early 2000s, soon after her banker husband Edmond infamously died in a mysterious fire inside the property.
It has now been snapped up on a 97 year lease at an asking price of €240 million (£199m) by an unnamed Middle Eastern investor, thought to be an Arab sheik.
Early theories back in 1999 were that Mr Safra had been killed by Russians in retaliation for supporting an FBI clampdown on money laundering in the Mediterranean principality.
But then Ted Maher, a former American Green Beret medical auxiliary who was caring for the ageing Mr Safra, suddenly confessed to starting the fire, which also killed another nurse.
Despite a double murder charge, Maher spent just five years in prison – increasing speculation that he was a ‘patsy’ set up to take responsibility for the crime by powerful interests who were really responsible.
Whatever the truth, it enabled Christian Candy, 36, and his brother Nick, 37, to make a fortune out of the then blighted flat.
Mrs Safra, who inherited her husband’s £3bn fortune thanks to him cutting his two brothers out of his will two months before his death, was happy to offload it for less than £10m.
In an interview last year Christian Candy admitted he had spent some £26m doing the flat up, turning it into one of the most desirable properties in the world.
With unspoiled views across Monte Carlo’s marina and the sea beyond, the two floor penthouse includes a double height library and vast roof terraces complete with mature 15 foot trees and infinity pool.
There is a leisure room complete with billiard tables and arcade video games, Jacuzzi and spa, and even a media room which includes executive chairs which convert into beds in case of over-work.
Other James Bond touches include old master paintings and cinema screens which emerge from walls at the touch of a button, and numerous walk-in wardrobes and dressing rooms.
Security is also state-of-the art, with a panic room, reinforced glass, and surveillance cameras everywhere.
The Candys, who were brought up in Surrey and started their career borrowing £6000 to do up their grandmother’s house in Earl’s Court, are believed to now be living between another of their Monaco flats and Candyscape II, their multi-million pound yacht.
The area where they live is one of the most expensive in France. In 2008, Russian billionaire Mikhail Prokhorov was poised to spend more than £450m buying the nearby Villa Leopolda.

When car valet Gurcharn Sahota started out washing motors, his equipment ran to little more than a bucket and sponge.
But the accountancy graduate has turned his love of fast cars into a booming cleaning business with an eye-watering price list - charging up to a £7,200 for each bespoke valet.
Mr Sahota now counts a £5,000 police forensic microscope to detect minute scratches, £8,200-a-tub wax and more than 100 different cleaning fluids amongst the tools of his trade, after starting the business in his parents' garage.
The 30-year-old has lined the walls and floor of the double unit with specialist tiles imported from Italy which help reflect flecks of dirt on the cars.
Each vehicle takes up to 250 hours to clean, and his premier service includes polishing and buffing every inch of the car inside and out FIVE times.
Since launching his business, 'Elite Detailing', five years ago, Mr Sahota said he had washed hundreds of supercars such as Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Rolls Royces and even the Le Mans-winning McLaren F1 GTR, of which only five of the 28 ever built were converted for road use.
He said that clients including rock stars, Premiership footballers, lawyers and actors have continued to flock to him despite the recession because the cost of his service is 'peanuts' compared to the value of their cars.
'People come to me and they want the best treatment going for their car', Mr Sahota, who is single, said yesterday. 'If you've got a £500,000 car then a few grand for cleaning is worth it.'
He begins every clean in the same way - washing it with a lambswool mitten and water mixed with Ph neutral shampoo and applied by a jet wash reaching temperatures of up to 120C (248F), depending on the body panel.
The wheels are then steam cleaned at 150C (302F) with a machine purchased from the NHS and designed to kill the MRSA superbug, before the car is dried with a microfibre towel and an industrial blower.
A clay bar is then rubbed over the bodywork to pick up any remaining decontaminants like tree sap or atmospheric pollutants, before the car is then rinsed, dried again, and any scratches are examined under the microscope.
Standard valets, which start at around £700 depending on the car, involve a two-stage polishing process to remove any scratches and then 'sharpen up' the paintwork.
But the £7,200 service involves sanding the car down twice to make sure the paint is exactly the same thickness all over the car, then polishing it by machine in three stages. This not only brings the car's colour back to life but also leaves each body panel offering a perfect reflection.
Three coats of the highly-concentrated carnauba wax, which is imported from Brazil, are then applied to seal the paint, compared with one coat on the standard valet, while plastics are also treated in a special sealant at a cost of £50 per 15mililitres.
Mr Sahota said clients who opt for the premier valet tend to be those who display their cars like ornaments, rather than drive them. Each car will only need one such treatment in its lifetime.
Mr Sahota said: 'The first time I cleaned a Ferrari Enzo it took a week and when I tried to sleep all I could see was Ferrari red.
'I just want perfection. Finishing is the best part because you know what it was like when you started. That gives me great satisfaction.'
Mr Sahota, a long-time car enthusiast, began researching car cleaning methods whilst at university. After graduating, he enrolled on a valeting training course, only to quit because he realised he knew more about the process than the bodyshops and technicians who were supposed to be teaching him.
He set up the business after convincing an Aston Martin dealer to let him clean a DB9 for free.The dealer was so impressed with his work he passed Mr Sahota's details on to clients.
He is now in the process of moving the business from his parents' home in Derbyshire to a new workshop he is opened in Worcester.
Despite spending his days cleaning other people's supercars, Mr Sahota is currently car less, having recently sold his boyhood favourite car, the Mk I Volkswagen Golf GTI.
He would not reveal the identities of many of his super-rich clients, but said he did regularly clean an Aston Martin DBS Volante belonging to the millionaire celebrity lawyer Nick 'Mr Loophole' Freeman.
The artists who came out last year, Hisako Matsumoto (松元久子) must be one of my favorites, and apparently I am not alone, since I have seen her work exhibited twice so far. As her graduation piece she created this crocodile costume, crocodile suit, complete with crocodile helmet and crocodile boots, in ceramics. Sometimes art just comes together like this, craft and concept, hand and brains. On Time Out Tokyo she gives a little bit more background on the inspiration behind this piece. Even if you can’t read Japanese you can have a look at the photo of her (she has a smile worthy of a cover model).
The more I see coming out from Tama Art University, the more I am convinced that this must be one of the best art universities in the world. This piece was even featured in Nikkei (one of the most artless business newspapers in the world). As a final trivia, I found out while googling her name that it’s the 801622nd most popular name in Japan. Who would have known?

A tailor and jeweller with a taste for the extravagant have joined forced to produce The world's most expensive Dress suite.
Made from cashmere wool, skill, and studded with 480 high quality diamonds it's easy to see why the suit is expensive.
But at a whopping £599,000, the price-tag could be enough to make even the most wealthy Russian oligarch think twice before handing over his credit-card.
Jeweller Stuart Hughes said he and pal Richard Jewels spent over 600 man hours putting the suit together but they haven't dared try it on themselves, "I was scared too" he said.
Only three of the suits will be made, with each one featuring 480 diamonds strategically positioned, each gem will be 0.5cts, colour G, VS2 quality, making a total 240cts.
Speaking of the "outrageous but subtle" suit, Hughes said it was designed to appeal to someone who enjoys being different, but didn't rule out producing an even more expensive one at some point in the future.
Richard Jewels added "I hope to establish a luxury brand that will not only capture the eyes but the hearts of the consumers.
"We will be offering our clients all expenses paid trips to luxury destinations such as the Arc en Ciel in St Lucia as part of the packages. The emphasis on our products is to solidify one's individuality."

The International Wine Challenge (IWC) is an annual wine competition. assesses every wine blind and judges each for its faithfulness to variety, region and vintage. Every wine is assessed independently of its price. Value for money awards are made after the wine has been judged for quality
The London IWC now has over 9,000 entries. The results of the competition are published on the International Wine Challenge website in May, in trade bi-weekly magazine Harpers Wine & Spirit Trade Review and the World's Best Wines Guide.
The competition was launched in London in 1984 by Robert Joseph and Charles Metcalfe
The competition takes place over two weeks. There are three rounds of blind tasting: groups of eight to fourteen wines of the same style are tasted and scored by tables of 4 judges. There are over 300 judges. Wines scoring more than 84 points out of 100 advance to round two, where they are tasted again and gold medal winners in each style are awarded. Round three is a tasting of gold medal winners to decide on trophy winners. Throughout the rigorous judging processes, each medal winning wine is tasted at least three times and sometimes as many as six. There is no set number of trophies awarded. In September the IWC Awards Dinner is held in London. Each year, the achievements of the top medal winners, and the leading wine merchants, are publicly rewarded at the International Wine Challenge Awards Dinner, with over 800 guests from the UK wine trade plus international producers and winemakers.
